SECRET FOR SINGLES
November 12, 2014
Some of the world's greatest accomplishments have been done by young men and women. Alexander the Great became king before he was thirty years old. Some of the great works of Shelley, Byron, Keats, Chopin, and Mozart were composed when they were teenagers. Hitler and Mussolini built their power on the dedication and energy of young people. Today, Communists make their strongest sales pitch to youth, because they know of the influence and dedication of the young.
Now, much of the mission work of the church is being done by young adults. And the church needs consecrated young people. Times are perilous and our cause is the greatest that the world has ever known. The very hope of the human race lies in wise youth committed to high principles. Young people need the church - they need Christ. Those who are indifferent to the way of the Lord are inviting sorrow on their lives and souls. Jesus says to young and old alike, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me" (Mark 8:34).
Here are ten things that you can do to serve God and gain life's...

THE SECRET TO RECEIVING YOUR NEED
October 12, 2014
Once a group of 500 people were attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each person a balloon. Each person was then asked to write their name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

The people were then let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written on it within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.
At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Then, the speaker asked each person to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.
"This is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.
Many times our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. What you make happen for others God will make happen for you...
In Summary, giving is the secret of receiving blessings. Be a giver. Do for someone what you are...

HOW CAN I OVERCOME A HABITUAL SIN?
October 4, 2014
Habitual sin is the act of repeating the same sin over an extended period of time, and refers to Christians in particularly (as what we call to be sin unbelievers can sometimes call to be 'pleasure'). Because of the guilt it can bring, it's easy to say that we hate it. When in reality our hearts are clinging to it. I'm not out to judge those things between the Lord and yourself, as I too have struggled with this. This is why I have the grace to talk about it. I pray that this digest brings hope into your heart.

The first thing to consider in how to overcome habitual sin is to note the change, or transformation, that takes place when a person is saved. The Bible describes the natural man as “dead in sin and trespasses” (Ephesians 2:1). As a result of Adam’s fall into sin, man is born spiritually dead. In this state of spiritual death, man is unable and unwilling to follow and obey God and habitual sin naturally follows. Natural man sees the things of God as foolishness (1 Corinthians 2:14) and is hostile toward God (Romans 8:7). When...

FORMING THE HABIT OF HOLINESS -Special Focus on Children
October 4, 2014
Ways to cultivate within your child a deep and abiding love for God. St. Maria Goretti is an example of raising your child to be a saint.
DIRECTIONS
It is not difficult to find opportunities for this. For all it may sound affected when reduced to words on paper, it is easy to find times when a child is alone with you, perhaps drying the dishes, making the beds, out in the garden with you planting the beans, when you can kneel down to his size and whisper: "Let's be very still for a minute and think about the Holy Spirit in our souls, and let us love God very much." This is a very reasonable suggestion to a child, and if he has been taught he will kneel and without any affectation say: "Holy Spirit, living in my soul, I love you very much. Please help me to love you more." And he will return to planting his beans. It is such a little act, hardly enough to stir the surface of a minute, but it is the one thing the Spirit awaits. God is bound by our own free wills: we must permit Him to move us,...

THE BASIC BUG OF BELIEVERS
September 3, 2014
Nobody is born great. However, no human being is void or born without purpose. There is a deposition of greatness in everyone. Achievement of purpose determines the state of your life on earth and beyond.
This is a general statement irrespective of your stand, unbeliever or believer. The latter however has more advantage than the former in all aspect of life.
One of the greatest frustrations in life is to see potential die. Not everyone is capable of acquiring greatness because it requires enormous inner strength. The task is even more enormous for people of God (believers) because to whom much is given much is expected.
The ultimate plan is fulfill purpose on earth and make heaven. Before birth, we have been given great potentials and ability to do this. But many people with great potential never realize what they have. Knowledge is a fundamental key.
Beyond knowledge and understanding, there are some basic building blocks delimiting unbelievers/believers in making real this truth. Indirectly or directly, we are snared by these factors and most die in hope without acheiving the divine purpose of God for our existence. We will be looking at them in three different ways:
1) PHYSICALLY/MENTALLY RICH,...

DO NOT SURRENDER, HELP IS ON THE WAY
September 1, 2014
INTRODUCTION
An Ammonites callled Nahash in the book of 1 Samuel 11:1-11 attacked the people of JabeshGilead without any reason for his action. Enemies always come with empty boast. Do not surrender to the threat of the enemy no matter the threat against you. Your struggles develop your strength when you go through hardships and decide not to surrender.
The message will be taken in three-outline: The Challenge, Demand and Defeat Of The Enemy
1) THE CHALLENGE OF THE ENEMY
Nahash means Serpent. And the other name of satan is serpent. Nahash oppressed the people of JabeshGilead without any fault. Whether you like it or not, the enemy will attack you. You cannot escape the siege of the enemy Isaiah 59:19; 1 Samuel 11:1
2) THE DEMAND OF THE ENEMY
Nahash demanded for the right eyes of the men of JabeshGilead 1 Samuel 11:2. The demand for their right eyes for freedom is ridiculous. The bible says where there is no vision, the people perish. How can you say you are giving people freedom by taking their right eyes? No matter what, never bargain or sign any peace treaty with the enemy. The devil does not give things...

MOVIE REVIEW: WAITING FOR TIME
August 27, 2014
This is the story of a young believer who maintained a steady relationship with the Holy Spirit to the extent his growth was evident to all. He became a great evangelist every pastor wants to have around to minister.
The person who got the great evangelist converted to Christ has been saved 21 years ago while the evangelist who is just four years old in The Lord has now become a great man of God ministering all over the World.
The Kingdom of darkness recognized him as untouchable. He is so powerful that he could not be touched. They figured out if they can get the secret of his prowess, he would be easy to bring down without being touched.
They figured out his secret is the Holy Spirit. He is so close to him. So the agent of darkness planned to use this against him. Knowing that the bible says we should not sin against the Holy Spirit, they masterminded this against him first with the love of money.
God revealed something to the evangelist through another man of God about what the devil is planning. He advised him not to frustrate the grace of God upon his life....

NOTHING CAN CHANGE YOUR WORTH
July 27, 2014
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a £20.00 note.
In the room of 200, he asked. Who would like this £20.00 note? Hands
started going up.
He said, I am going to give this £20.00 to one of you but first, let me do
this. He proceeded to crumple the £20.00 note up.
He then asked who still wants it. Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied. What if I do this? And dropped it on the ground and
started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. Now who still wants it? Still
the hands went into the air.
My friends, we all have learned a valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not
decrease in value.
It is still worth £20.00.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel
as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will
happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are...

QUESTION & ANSWER ON EUTHANASIA
June 9, 2014
QUESTION:
Please i want to know if Christians should go for euthanasia. What does the bible say about euthanasia?
ANSWER:
Euthanasia simply means assisted suicide or good death. It is a way of ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering. The goal of euthanasia is to prevent the continuation of pain.
This is not biblical. It is legal in countries like Netherland and Belgium. just because a society say euthanasia is good does not mean that it is. It does not mean Christians should accept it. You did not create yourself so you do not have rights to terminate your own life. Everything happens for a reason. Even dead bones still receive flesh and live, imagine one that is still alive but only giving up because of the pain involved.
There is nothing in the Bible that tells us we must do everything we can to keep someone alive for as long as possible. So, we are not under obligation to prolong the life of someone who is suffering. If someone is terminally ill and in great pain, we should make the person as comfortable as possible during this process of dying. We should not hasten his...

GOD SETS BOUNDARIES
May 1, 2014
In life, restrictions are in place to bring control. God also uses this approach. He puts restrictions in place to control and guide us to our place of destiny.
Do not sell your destiny for a morsel of bread while you are faced with restrictions around your path to destiny. Stand up to your feet to live above Sin.
If Joseph had touched Photiphar's wife, he would have died in Prison without getting to the palace. That sin and lawless attitude is after your destiny. Dont give in to it.
God is not limited in time, resources and power. The obstacles are for a reason. It is part of the plan.
Do not mortgage your divine rights for a moment of deceitful brilliance.
Do not be carried away by any outward design and pictures. When God talks, he does not vibrate. But his words vibrate situations and carry weight.
God is not limited in power. He is omnipotent. Do not give up on God. He is never late. Righteousness pays as last. Sin destroys at the end.
If you think you have waited enough, just wait a little more.
When we are not satisfied with a style of service...
